Scholarships
Oliver-Mercer Electric Cooperative is again offering one $1,000 scholarship from Basin Electric Power Cooperative. The scholarship will be awarded to a dependent who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time graduate or undergraduate course of study at an accredited, two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school. Parents must be a member of Oliver-Mercer Electric. Forms may be obtained at the link listed below or at your local school or Oliver-Mercer Electric Cooperative. Applications must be received in our office before Thursday, February 16 2008.
Oliver-Mercer Electric awards 3 - $500 scholarships each year. One graduating senior from each of the schools in our service area (Beulah, Center, and Hazen) is chosen by his or her school to receive these funds.
Oliver-Mercer Electric also awards 1 - $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from schools outside our service area, but whose parents are members of our cooperative. An application needs to be completed and returned to our office before March 1, 2008. Forms are available at New Salem High School, Hebron High School, Underwood High School, Halliday High School and Glen Ullin High School.
